Family Medicine

I chose a career in medicine for many reasons, but one moment in which a physician treated me with simple human kindness when I was at a low point definitely influenced my decision. I chose Family Medicine because I think it’s ideally situated as a “non-specialty” to have an impact on the community. Family Medicine doctors take care of the whole family and the community. I am an advisor. My job is to explain the science and medicine of illness and health in terms that make sense and then provide advice and options for how to treat illness and maintain health. I am here to help people align their healthcare with their beliefs and values.
