I grew up in a medically underserved community, and I recognized my true calling when I first met a physician assistant when I was diagnosed with a serious illness. Her knowledge, thoroughness, and compassion helped my family through a tough time, and I knew from that point on I needed to help others in their time of need. I strongly believe in educating patients, especially our youth. They will grow up one day and take care of us!
