Internal Medicine

My father was a surgeon and I admired what he did, how he could take care of people. I initially went into finance, but it was unsatisfying, so I applied for medical school and never looked back. I chose Internal Medicine because it keeps me thinking. The field is constantly changing, therefore constantly challenging. I believe in doing what the patient requires to have their health restored, if it can be restored, trying to influence changes that are preventive for the person, treating patients with the utmost respect, and not being arrogant.
